A Willis Area Men Charged With Predatory Internet Crimes

Montgomery County, Texas — Two Montgomery County men have been arrested and charged with possession of illegal photographs following separate investigations conducted by the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

According to Constable Philip Cash’s office, Sgt. Serratt of the Precinct 1 ICAC Unit received two independent cyber tips in May 2026 indicating that two individuals were suspected of possessing illegal photographs. After developing evidence through both investigations, Sgt. Serratt obtained arrest warrants for the suspects.

On May 13, 2026, Trey Hubbard, of Montgomery, Texas, was taken into custody by Precinct 1 Deputies and charged with Possession of illicit Photographs, a third-degree felony under Texas law.

On May 15, 2026, Christopher Cooke, of Willis, was arrested by the Ellis County Sheriff’s Department during a traffic stop and also charged with Possession of Illicit Photographs, a third-degree felony under Texas law.

Both investigations remain ongoing and are being handled by the Montgomery County ICAC Task Force in coordination with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

All arrests are public record. The Constable’s Office reminds the public that all subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
