Murder Suspect Booked Into Walker County Jail

HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS — Dorane Lynette Williams, a 44 year-old female from Livingston Texas, was booked into the Walker County jail for a murder warrant Friday. The murder warrant was issued out of Walker County Justice Of The Peace Court Precinct 1.

Williams was previously charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and arrested by the Huntsville Police Department on January 1, 2024. The Walker County District Attorney declined to prosecute the case at the time, according to county records.

Williams was also charged with Obstruction / Retaliation the same day. Her Obstruction case is pending in the 12th State District Court in Walker County.

Williams is currently in the Walker County Jail on a $100,000 bond for the murder charge and a $10,000 bond for the Obstruction/ Retaliation.
