Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Searching For Endangered Adult
NEW CANEY — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Maria Ortiz, a 58‑year‑old woman who went missing Monday afternoon in New Caney.
Deputies say Ortiz left on foot around 12:00 p.m. on July 20, 2026, from the 19800 block of Knoll Drive and has not been seen since. Her last known contact was recorded the same day.
Ortiz is described as 5’03”, 132 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and a medium complexion. She was last seen wearing a blue Houston Texans shirt with #10 on the back, blue Adidas shorts, and black sparkly Crocs. According to investigators, she may be confused about her surroundings.
