Fall Festivals Are Here
NEW WAVERLY, TEXAS — New Waverly residents gathered Friday behind Prosperity Bank on State Highway 75 for the 4th Annual Fall Festival, an event that brought out hundreds of attendees and marked another strong turnout for the community tradition.
The festival featured a wide range of family activities, including mechanical bull riding, a pie eating contest, crafts, a bouncy house, face painting, a cake walk, miniature golf, food vendors, fire trucks, and multiple costume contests. The mild October weather contributed to a lively and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the evening.
Tonight, the New Waverly PTO will host its own Fall Festival at New Waverly Elementary School from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The event, scheduled for October 17, 2026, will include a silent auction, inflatables, a pumpkin smashing demonstration, dunk tank, train rides, hay ride, crafts, a pumpkin patch, yard games, and a petting zoo.
Organizers note that a $10 entry fee will be required for all players, and wristbands must be worn to participate in activities.
