Three Adult Teens Face Narcotics Charges in San Jacinto County

COLDSPRING, TEXAS – San Jacinto County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three young adults on felony drug charges following two separate traffic stops assisted by K9 units.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, K9 teams were deployed to opposite sides of the county, conducting stops in Point Blank and Shepherd. The dogs alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics, leading to the arrests of all individuals involved.
Two of the suspects, Joshua Beaty, 17, and Isabela Gorney, 17, both of Shepherd, were taken into custody. A third suspect, James Hosea, 19, of Oakhurst, was arrested in a separate incident.
All three were charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substances.
The Sheriff’s Office stated it remains committed to proactive policing and the use of K9 units to help keep communities safe.
