A Pursuit Leaves Female Pinned Under Motorcycle With Injuries While Male Driver Flees on Foot

Anderson, Texas – On Wednesday approximately 2:20am, a Grimes County Sheriff’s Deputy allegedly attempted to conduct a traffic stop for speeding on a motorcycle operated by James Don George.  This occurred at County Road 202 entering the Pinebrook Subdivision for speeding.Â
The motorcycle refused to stop and led duties on a high-speed pursuit through the subdivision, reaching speeds of 100 MPH.
The motorcycle entered State Highway 249 and went eastbound towards Montgomery County, traveling above 130 miles per hour. The motorcycle entered a subdivision at Zion Lane and Antonia Drive and lost control at this intersection. George upon crashing evaded deputies on foot, leaving his injured female passenger pinned underneath the motorcycle.
The male suspect was apprehended hiding underneath a vehicle. George had a “Blue Warrant” for parole violations on a felony narcotics offense he was on parole for.
Deputies located a bag containing suspected methamphetamine that George allegedly threw before he was apprehended. The motorcycle was reported stolen by the Conroe Police Department.
The female, who also had warrants for narcotic offenses, was transported to a hospital in the Woodlands for significant injuries to her legs.
George was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1st Degree Felony), Evading Arrest Detention With A Vehicle With Previous Convictions (3rd Degree Felony), Evading Arrest Detention With Previous Convictions (State Jail Felony),
Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle (State Jail Felony), Tampering/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair
(3rd Degree Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group I 1G-4G (3rd Degree Felony), and Parole Violation (Blue Warrant).
The Magnolia Police Department, the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office and the Tomball Police Department also assisted in this pursuit.
