VEHICLE BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CONROE
CONROE, TEXAS — Police arrested a Houston man early September 9 after officers responded to a burglary of a motor vehicle in progress at the Riverwalk Apartments. Witnesses reported a male breaking into vehicles and provided a description of a black sedan seen leaving the area.
As Conroe officers arrived, they spotted the vehicle matching the description and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Keion Randle, 28, of Houston. Inside the vehicle, officers found multiple power tools in the back seat.
While Randle was being questioned, additional officers searched the apartment complex and discovered three vehicles had been burglarized. One of the vehicles belonged to a company whose name matched labels found on several of the power tools inside Randle’s car.
Investigators connected Randle to one of the burglaries, and he later admitted to breaking into the vehicle. One victim was located and positively identified his stolen property, which officers recovered and returned.
Randle was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. During the investigation, officers also learned that the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is looking into several other vehicle burglaries in which the same suspect vehicle may have been involved.
Police credited alert witnesses, quick officer response, and solid investigative work for removing a suspected vehicle burglar from the streets and returning stolen property to its rightful owner.
