Alleged Sex Offender Captured Using Flock Camera
CONROE — A Flock safety camera alert led Crime Reduction Unit officers to a wanted suspect on July 30, resulting in both an arrest and a narcotics seizure, according to the department.
Investigators said the CRU received a notification through its Flock Felony Warrant Hotlist indicating that a vehicle associated with an individual wanted for an alleged sexual assault had passed a Flock camera location. Officers moved into the area and located the vehicle near N. Loop 336 W. and N. Frazier Street in Conroe.
Police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of N. Loop 336 W. The driver, identified as 31‑year‑old Dragon Wood‑Hillman, was confirmed to be the subject of the outstanding sexual assault warrant.
During the stop, a K9 alerted officers to possible narcotics inside the vehicle. A subsequent search allegedly uncovered approximately six grams of methamphetamine, authorities said.
Wood‑Hillman was taken into custody on the warrant and now faces additional charges related to the drug discovery. Officials said the Flock alert allowed officers to quickly locate the suspect and safely make the arrest.
