9-1-1 Service In MADISON County Impacted by Storm

NOTICE FROM THE MADISON COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE:

ATTENTION:

911 service in Madison County has been affected by the storm. Verizon and its affiliated subscribers are able to contact 911 via phone call without any issues. Some cell providers, such as AT&T, are not able to reach 911 currently. If the phone call to 911 rings more than three times without an answer, you will have to call from a different provider. The text 911 feature is unavailable for all providers at this time.

Madison County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency phones are in and out of service. If you need to contact the Sheriff’s Office for non-emergency’s please call 936-348-2755 option 1, but know that it may take a couple of attempts.
