Identify Person of Interest

HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS — The Huntsville Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a person detectives want to speak with regarding a recent theft at a local business.

Police released a photo of the individual and say detectives are hoping to make contact with them as part of an ongoing investigation.

According to HPD, the case involves a theft that occurred at a Huntsville business. Detectives have not released additional details about the incident but say identifying the person in the photo is an important step in moving the investigation forward.

Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information that could help detectives is asked to contact Detective Renegar at 936‑291‑5498 and reference Case Number 26021154.

Tipsters can also reach out to Walker County–Huntsville Crime Stoppers at 936‑294‑9494. Crime Stoppers allows callers to remain anonymous.

HPD says community assistance often plays a key role in solving cases and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
