Huntsville Library Approved for New Air Conditioning

Huntsville, Texas  – This week the City of Huntsville Council approved the purchase of two new 60 ton air conditioner units for the Huntsville Public Library.

The existing library air conditioners, which are over 12 years old, went out this year creating hot conditions for library employee and visitors.  After unsuccessful maintenance attempts on the units, it was recommended for the units to be replaced. 

The city received 5 bids for the project ranging between $297,000 to $500,000.  The city administrators recommended the second lowest bid from Extreme Comfort, due to existing experiences with the company and the quality of the product.
