Goree Contraband Suspects Arrested

A multi agency investigation led to the arrest of Keaun Eddings, Esther Eddings, and James Tucker. All suspects are facing charges for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activities for allegedly attempting to smuggle contraband into the TDCJ Goree Unit.

Keaun Eddings will face an additional charge for allegedly bringing prohibited substances and items into a correctional or civil commitment facility.

The charges are related to a previous attempt to smuggle .7 ounces of K2, nine cans of Stoker Snuff, two packs of Newport Cigarettes, four vape pens, one package of rolling paper, and four beef jerky sticks into the Goree Prison Unit located on the south side of Huntsville.

The Office of the Inspector General, the TDCJ Fusion Center, and local law enforcement were involved in this investigation.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
