Fire Crews Respond To A Fire At The Pilot Truck Stop

At around 7:20 AM this morning several engines from the Huntsville Fire Department responded to a smoke report at the Pilot Truck Stop located at 639 Texas Highway 75 North.

The truck stop contains a large volume of fuel storage prompting several ladder trucks to respond.

It was discovered an electrical issue caused the fire and the issue was isolated. The truck stop was closed after the electrical fire and should reopen by this afternoon. No injuries or other issues were reported.
