CROCKETT, TEXAS — Crockett authorities are investigating a chaotic and violent scene after multiple people were injured during a large gathering late Saturday night.

According to police At approximately 10:20 PM on June 13, 2026, officers with the Crockett Police Department, deputies with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety, and several EMS units responded to the 1100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd following reports of shots fired.

A large event was underway in the area at the time, drawing significant crowds and heavy vehicle traffic, which added to the complexity of the emergency response.

According to preliminary information:

  • At least four individuals suffered gunshot wounds and either arrived at or were transported to area hospitals.
