Here are the findings from the July 2024 City of Huntsville Health Department restaurant inspection on the China House restaurant located at 2105 Sam Houston Avenue :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Food stored in non-food grade container <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raw meat stored above ready-to-eat foods in cooler.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sanitizer solution must be available to disinfect surfaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slicer must be cleaned<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Management must have proper knowledge of food safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improper hand washing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All product held longer than 24 hours must be labeled with 7 day expiration date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wiping cloths must be used properly and stored inside sanitizer buckets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product stored on floor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Frozen product observed being thawed improperly in 3 compartment sink<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bulk containers need to be labeled with product name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kitchen floors need to be cleaned<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vent hood filters need to be cleaned<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The overall score for the China House was 78.\u00a0\u00a0A re-inspection of the restaurant will be required by the City of Huntsville Health Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>China House was the only restaurant in last month\u2019s City of Huntsville Health Department report to require re-inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full City of Huntsville Health Department\u2019s report can be found by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huntsvilletx.gov\/DocumentCenter\/View\/23116\/July-2024-Routine-Health-Inspections\">CLICKING HERE<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Lance Lowry 08-26-2024 Huntsville, Texas &#8211;
