Scott<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Position 4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Amanda Hope<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bridget Maloney<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Robby Logan<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pat Graham (Incumbent)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The City of Huntsville last week posted a notice stating their plan to increase property taxes on city residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the notice the proposed budget will increase by $1,409,670 or 15.57% from last years budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only $187,906 or 2.1% of the budgets funds will come from new property added to the tax roll.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Huntsville residents are facing a significant tax increase, if this proposal goes through.
