Huntsville, Texas – Today the Walker County Criminal District Attorney Will Durham released the names of individuals indicted by the Walker County Grand Jury for the month of June 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably the Elkins Lake alleged mailroom burglar was one of the latest indictments. Travis Brown was indicted for that burglary, which occurred in August of 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allegedly Brown was careful to wear a mask upon entering the Elkins Lake mailroom, however he forgot to wear gloves. The Huntsville Police were able to identify Brown from fingerprint evidence left behind at the scene. Brown is a current resident of TDCJ at the Lychner Unit in Humble, Texas on other criminal charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
