Detectives said the operation was prompted by multiple tips from the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the search, investigators recovered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One firearm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nearly seven pounds of marijuana<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Over 1,200 grams of THC vape devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More than 4,000 grams of THC edible products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Approximately $30,000 in cash, believed to be proceeds from illicit drug sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Officials noted the proximity of the smoke shop to a daycare center as a significant concern during the investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputies took Mohamed Elwaseem, 25, into custody following the search. Elwaseem was charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
