COLDSPRING, TEXAS \u2014 Coach Chad Allen, a graduate of Coldspring High School, returns to lead the athletic program after spending the past decade at Cypress Falls High School, where he coached football and basketball in one of Texas\u2019 premier 6A athletic environments. During his tenure at Cy-Falls, Allen worked to develop student-athletes in a highly competitive setting, gaining experience he says he is eager to bring back to his hometown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Allen holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in General Studies and a master\u2019s degree in Criminal Justice, both from Lamar University. He said his coaching philosophy centers on developing the whole student-athlete, emphasizing academics, character, discipline, leadership, and service as essential components of a successful athletic program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In announcing his return, Allen outlined a vision for Trojan Athletics focused on building a unified program where coaches, athletes, parents, and the community work together under a single standard of excellence. While he aims to build competitive teams, he said he believes true success is measured by the lasting impact coaches have on students and their preparation for life beyond graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Allen, who is married to Carissa and has two sons, Caysen and Chayse, said he is excited to invest in the students, schools, and community that shaped him. He described his goal as creating a championship culture rooted in character, accountability, and Trojan pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
