A real estate holding company with ties to Elon Musk had purchased land around the Gibbons Creek Reservoir slated to become the world\u2018s largest computer chip manufacturer known as \u201cSpaceX&#8217;s Terafab\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Space and Grimes County previously worked out a $20 million annual tax abatement deal. The next step for the project will be Governor Greg Abbott\u2019s approval of the project\u2019s tax abatements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will likely bring thousands of jobs to our area.
