According to the agency, the suspect is not a law\u2011enforcement officer and has reportedly approached drivers while wearing civilian clothing, not a uniform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities are now working to identify anyone who may have been stopped by this individual. DPS is urging drivers to come forward if they encountered a traffic stop involving a black 2022 Jeep Gladiator and a person not wearing official police attire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to contact the Conroe DPS Criminal Investigations Division at 346\u2011260\u20119824 or email Luke.Williams@dps.texas.gov<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation is ongoing within the DPS Southeast Texas Region.
