The vehicle was last confirmed traveling through Elkhart and heading toward Houston County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Houston County Sheriff\u2019s Deputy soon spotted the vehicle turning onto Loop 304 from U.S. Highway 287 North and continuing toward FM 229. A Crockett Police Department officer positioned near FM 2076 then observed the vehicle speeding. Officers initiated a traffic stop near Loop 304 and State Highway 7 West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the stop, officers learned one of the three occupants had an outstanding Assault warrant out of Harris County. He was taken into custody. A search incident to arrest revealed approximately $40,000 in cash concealed on the alleged suspect, along with a black mask and black gloves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver consented to a search of the vehicle. Officers located more black masks, black gloves, and dark clothing that matched descriptions provided by Royse City detectives investigating the robbery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the request of Royse City Police Department, the remaining two occupants were detained until detectives arrived to continue the investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the multi\u2011agency investigation, the following suspects were arrested and charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Edward Davion Cannon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>James Hoyd White<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aaron Oscar Carter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All three were booked into the Hunt County<br>Jail. The Sheriff\u2019s Office said the case demonstrates the effectiveness of modern technology and coordinated policing. Agencies involved included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Anderson County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Houston County Communications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Houston County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crockett Police Department<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Texas Parks and Wildlife State Game Wardens<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Royse City Police Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Their combined efforts led to the recovery of the stolen cash and the swift identification of the alleged suspects.
