MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TEXAS \u2014 A sharp\u2011eyed Precinct 4 Montgomery Sergeant turned a routine traffic stop into the recovery of a stolen U\u2011Haul proving once again that attention to detail is undefeated, and that a moving truck still won\u2019t be the getaway vehicle of choice in the next installment of Grand Theft Auto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Precinct 4, the Sergeant pulled over what appeared to be a standard U\u2011Haul, until it wasn\u2019t. The license plate didn\u2019t match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A quick investigation revealed the truth. The truck had been reported stolen back in April. The driver, Rogelio Vasquez,
was taken into custody and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. This marks the second stolen U\u2011Haul recovered this past week. For the alleged grand thief, the game is now over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While the suspect\u2019s attempt to blend in with a rental truck was bold, it wasn\u2019t exactly brilliant. If video games have taught us anything, it\u2019s that no criminal mastermind in Grand Theft Auto, would choose a 26\u2011foot moving truck as their escape ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
