{"id":1208,"date":"2026-05-21T21:48:01","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T21:48:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hvhappens.com\/?p=1208"},"modified":"2026-05-21T21:48:02","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T21:48:02","slug":"marshals-and-trinity-county-arrest-a-high-risk-tennessee-predator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hvhappens.com\/index.php\/2026\/05\/21\/marshals-and-trinity-county-arrest-a-high-risk-tennessee-predator\/","title":{"rendered":"Marshals and Trinity County Arrest a High Risk Tennessee Predator"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Staff Writer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TRINITY COUNTY, TEXAS &#8211; A Tennessee fugitive wanted on multiple child\u2011exploitation charges was arrested Thursday in the Trinity Cove subdivision after a coordinated high\u2011risk warrant operation involving the United States Marshals Service and the Trinity County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Sheriff Woody Wallace, deputies assisted federal agents in serving a felony warrant on Normal Phillip Haun, 42, who was taken into custody without incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities say Haun is wanted out of Greene County, Tennessee, on a series of serious felony charges, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>16 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Violation of Sex Offender Registry requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Violations of Community Supervision for Life<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of the severity of the allegations and the \u201chigh\u2011risk\u201d classification of the warrant, Sheriff Wallace said additional safety measures were implemented to protect residents, officers, and all personnel involved in the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following his arrest, Haun was transported to the Trinity County Jail, where he will remain while awaiting extradition back to Tennessee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sheriff Wallace publicly thanked the U.S. Marshals Service and Trinity County deputies for their professionalism and teamwork during the operation, noting that crimes involving children remain a top priority for law enforcement agencies nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCrimes involving children are taken seriously, and law enforcement agencies across this country continue to work together to locate and apprehend those wanted for serious offenses,\u201d Wallace said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officials emphasize that all individuals arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Staff Writer TRINITY COUNTY, TEXAS &#8211; A Tennessee fugitive wanted on multiple child\u2011exploitation charges was arrested Thursday in the Trinity Cove subdivision after a coordinated high\u2011risk warrant operation involving the United States Marshals Service and the Trinity County Sheriff\u2019s Office.
