MADISONVILLE, Texas \u2014 The Madisonville Police Department is asking for the public\u2019s assistance in locating Gerardo\u202fMartinez, who is wanted on a Theft charge greater than\u202f$750\u202fbut less than\u202f$2,500 (Class\u202fA\u202fMisdemeanor).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police, Martinez is a habitual offender with an extensive criminal history involving theft and related offenses. He currently faces six active warrants, five of which were issued by four other law\u2011enforcement agencies, most being felony theft warrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investigators say Martinez,\u202f40,\u202fwas identified in connection with a February\u202f2026 theft at a Tractor\u202fSupply store in Madisonville, where approximately $1,630.98\u202fworth of merchandise was taken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Martinez is described as a Hispanic male,\u202f5\u20326\u2033\u202ftall,\u202f200\u202fpounds, last known to reside in Houston, and possibly driving a brownish\u2011tan\u202fSUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
